"Wrong side of the bed"

Do you ever have those day's when you wake up and know that the day is not going to go the way you planned?? I had one of those today...then my husband called me out on it...

So usually I get up (on a good day) at 5:45, spend time with the LORD...have a Pot of coffee (yes I am an addict), then the kids slowly get up one by one by 7am or so.

Today, I didn't get out of bed until 6:30, walked to the kitchen to get coffee, realized that I hadn't cleaned Jason's thermos...ugh #1, the dog (Cosmo) starts sneezing, for those of you who don't know, when he sneezes, it is a gross, gross mess...ugh #2, then I realize after taking care of ugh 1 and 2 that I only have a solid 20 minutes to spend with my CREATOR...but before I can even do that, I have to call and apologize to my wonderful loving husband, because after I was done cleaning up the sneeze mess, he came to kiss me goodbye, and I had a huge sigh of frustration before I could kiss him....this of course was not at all directed toward him...I called to say sorry, and began to explain why my sigh was so loud and absurd...and he said "self pity huh?"

Exactly!!! My gosh, who am I to complain about the day that the LORD has made...aren't I supposed to be glad and rejoice in it...regardless of how it is going?? HE does all things for good to those who love HIM. I love HIM dearly, HE gave me this day...I have prayed for patience!!! I could not ask for a better "lot in life." GOD is so amazing to me everyday!! I just pray now that I will get up on time to enjoy that "amazingness" (yea I know it's not a word) in the quiet morning, so then the rest of my day will be SPIRIT filled!!!
