Bates Nut Farm

Here are some pix from our Bates trip. The day was great. Cold fall weather, which I can't remember the last we had cold weather while looking for a pumpkin! Anyway the girls had a great time, the first picture is of the "kid crew"! Lot's of 'em!!! Ainsley wasn't extremely interested in the "pumpkin deal" she had found a resident kitty and was more interested in her! Emily was all about the "Big Mac's"...you know the huge 20+pound pumpkins....I wasn't having any of those, although she tried to talk me into it..."sorry kid, those aren't included in our $6.75 we paid." She got over it....she got to choose her own smaller pumpkin and already tried to talk us into carving them...3 weeks before Halloween! One more week and we'll carve and show you how they came out. The only bummer of the day was Jason had to work and the older two kids were with friends....maybe they are over "pumpkin hunting"!
